Mother of Earth [Alarath][Contest Piece]

Whew I just had an exhausting few days while I was away at a competition, it was fun, but I'm so glad to be back now! I've been DYING to post this, I've been talking about it for a few submissions now;w;

I've been working on this piece for a few months now (albeit slowly) in order to be able to enter it into a digital art exhibit competition. The last few days were a mad dash to get together documentation, and get it printed; but I'm happy to report that it all went smoothly :3

I was very lucky to have taken part in the competition, I'm somewhat shocked to have won Best in Show considering there were other people who clearly stomped me/mopped the floor with my ass (*cough* ABlackOrange and her god tier lighting *cough*)

ANYWHO, enough of that mess! I created this piece as an expression of my passions: character design and high detail. I will definitely be drawing more of this character, whom I've come to name Alarath just because I thought it suited her a tiny bit ouo

Let me know what you think of her, I will be reposting the fixed version of this when the next competition rolls around, thank you to ABlackOrange and Deertush for giving me advice and listening to me complain about this thing for hours on end every day!
